It’s the day before Christmas and we’re in the final stages of preparation at our house. All gifts are wrapped and ready to gift. I’ve finished up my final holiday baking with breakfast and dessert treats for tonight and tomorrow’s celebrations.
One of my children has been playing Christmas music since a week or two before Thanksgiving :/, while my other child has taken us on a two month long immersive trip through the history of the Beatles.
A local radio station is doing a full day of commercial free Beatles today, so you can imagine the music playing in the background as I write this post. (Though, there is a faint hum of Christmas music coming from another room at the same time :)
I’ll be taking a break from blogging while I spend the holidays with family and friends, but before I do….
Let me wish you a very Merry Christmas! Whatever holiday you celebrate, or even if you don’t celebrate one at all, I hope that you have some time to do the things you love with the people you love. I hope there is at least a flicker of brightness in each of your days and that the new year brings you that which you need most.
